VMA's Today!!!!

The MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by our favorite pudgy bad boy Jack Black, hit MTV tonight. Will this year be another Kelly Clarkson fest, or will Panic! At the Disco take home all the big awards? See all the official odds (and place your bet if you're feeling confident in your band taking home a moon man) with the HollyWagers VMA Betting Guide.

Mel's naughty probation

Bodog wants to know: Will Mel Gibson break any of the conditions attached to his 3-year probation by December 31st, 2006?

Yes +300
No -500

Mel may have turned crazy, but I'd say his odds of effing up are pretty slim. He knows what he's doing (or at least, his agent's laying the smack down on his PR for at least the next few months). Pretty good odds, people.

Post-Emmys Wrap-Up!

If you had bet as soon as the nominations were out, here would've been your results from the betting guide with just a measly $10 a bet:

Outstanding Drama Series: 24 (7/2): Really, you didn't have to spend a whole lot of money for a pretty much sure thing.
Outstanding Comedy Series: The Office (1/1): They had even odds from the start, so you were almost guaranteed your money back.
Outstanding Reality-Competition Series: The Amazing Race (1/1): As much as I wanted Project Runway to win, this was a given.
Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series: Tony Shalhoub, Monk (3/1): Let's face it: everyone loves Tony Shaloub. I would've voted for him, too.
Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series: Kiefer Sutherland, 24 (2/3): You could've made a tad on this. But you should've jumped on this early.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, The New Adventures of Old Christine (18/1): Now, seriously. This would have made you some real money early on. $180? Yikes.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (13/7): This would've gotten a little bit as well. It wasn't the sure thing, though, which made it worth it.

Big Changes in the Project Runway Odds!!!

Suddenly, Laura is the heavy favorite at 5 to 4 and Uli jumps to a tight 4 to 1. You may be surprised how close some of the odds on the designers of Project Runway are. Get the latest (and some catty comments) in the HollyWagers Project Runway 3 Betting Guide!

Get Your Emmy Bets In Early!

Hey! The Emmy's are this weekend - but you knew that! Get your bets in people - Awards shows are the number one way people make money betting on entertainment because there aren't a lot of variables involved (you know, like on reality shows when Terry fell off the balance beam in the last challenge instead of winning the entire Survivor prize like he should of.

Kari wrote you a betting guide to the Emmy's. Check it out!

No shocker. It was a Genius Night on Treasure Hunters

The best team NEVER wins. Last night on Treasure Hunters, the Geniuses won, leaving both of my FAVORITE teams (Air Force and the HOT Southie Boys) in the dust. If you had bet the Genius team, you would have won on even money.

Yeah. Bummer.

There's a lot of action coming up to bet on though. The Emmy's are this week. You can bet on those! Maybe something good will win an Emmy and I'll feel better about the best teams on Treasure Hunters not winning. I should have learned my lesson on this from watching The Amazing Race.

A Big Night for Reality TV!

So Benji won won So You Think You Can Dance last night. Odds had him as the favorite, so if you went with the odds you won some cash. Of course, Jocelyn's little heart just broke when Travis didn't win. If Travis had won, Jocelyn could have gone and seen him dance in the Celine show in Vegas. Anyway, we're sad the show is over.

Then, on Project Runway, THE MOST RIDICULOUS DECISION EVER to send the prettiest girl ever home, crying. What the hell? None of the odds shifted dramatically, but my brain burned wondering why Alison was going home and Vincent was staying. Excuse me? See the summary in the HollyWagers Project Runway Betting Guide, and get your bets in on Michael Knight, Jeffrey Sebelia and Uli, because that's our call on the final three. Sure, Laura has a shot, but we just don't see it happening. She'd be our fourth pick.

So, in general, Jocelyn ended the night not being very happy about the outcomes of her favorite reality shows. So she had a Cosmo and went to bed.

It's Down to the Wire on Treasure Hunters

If you would have asked me on week one if the Geniuses had any shot at possibly winning Treasure Hunters, I would have laughed at you and told you that they were way to socially inept and prone to overthinking to every win. And yes, I just used all of those big words just for them! But the finale is next Monday, and when the show left off yesterday, the Genius team was in the lead and the final task is a stupid puzzle, which is what they're best at.

Over at Bodog, you can still bet, and honestly, I'm placing money on the Southie Boys AND the Air Force team because I believe that one of the two of them is going to come from behind and beat the Genius team. The odds right now are:

Geniuses are the favorites at 5 to 7 (win $5 for every $7 you bet)

Air Force is at even money (bet $5 to win $5)

Southie Boys are the long shot at 7 to 2 (bet $2 to win $7 on the hot Boston firemen!)

Click here to get over to Bodog and bet on the winner before it's too late. Jocelyn thinks you can't go wrong hedging on the Air Force and the Southie Boys.

So You Think You Can Dance - Final Four

It's down to the final four on So You Think You Can Dance, and Benji is still the favorite. We don't know why, because Travis is THE BEST THING EVER. Anyway, there's cashola to be made if you think anybody OTHER than Benji will win. Odds before the Wednesday dance-off are:

Benji at even money
Donyelle at 4 to 3
Heidi as the long shot at 4 to 1
Travis at 7 to 4

You can also bet on whether the winner will be male or female, and since we all suspect that one of the boys will win, that might be a good bet.

On the other hand, a lot can happen in Wednesday's dance off! People can fall, somebody could get a head cold, you never know!

Hell's Kitchen Heats Up

Just three remain in America's favorite kitchen reality show. Bodog's got the odds up, so if you think you know who will survive the flames and Gordan Ramsay's mean tongue, get your money in now.

Virginia: The longshot at 18 to 1. I mean, her occupation is "salad chef." What is that?

Heather: The heavy favorite at 1 to 4. How do you not love Heather?

Keith: Definitely in the game at 9 to 11. We did thic cocky New Yorker, but we lurve Heather.

Click to get over to Bodog and bet the winner of Hell's Kitchen 2!

Paris in the summertime.

She won't go away, will she? Paris Hilton is a favorite over at Bodog. They ask the most burning of questions:

Which of the following things will happen to Paris Hilton first?

Break Up with Stavros Niarchos 2/3
Get engaged to Stavros Niarchos 9/11
Get pregnant with Stavros Niarchos' child 4/1
Get pregnant with Brandon Davis' child 19/1
Get arrested for a vehicle related offense 15/2
Get in a photographed fist fight with Nicole Richie 9/1
Get in a photographed fist fight with Lindsay Lohan 10/1

I'd like to see her punch Firecrotch in the face, but that's just me.
