Survivor's over, Eurovision crowns a winner, and... Tiger Woods?

So there were a couple of props you could've bet on this weekend. Didja make any money?

Serbia (at +350) won the Eurovision song contest, with an oddly dressed pop singer named Marija Serifovic. I'm not sure exactly if she'll ever break through in the States, but bless her heart for representing for a war-ravaged part of the world, right?

The Survivor: Fiji finale was last night, and in a unanimous vote, favorite from the get-go Earl took home the big million. He was even money going into the weekend, so if you'd gotten him, like, in the first week, you would've made a couple of bucks.

And speaking of dudes named Earl (or possibly to be named Earl), BetUS has the odds on a slew of names that Tiger Woods and his wife could call their child, at #1 with a bullet is... you guessed it, Earl at +200. But it'd be a really tear-inducing reason: it was Tiger's late father's name. Aw.

That's right, we've got Eurovision odds!

Here in the States, we love our American Idol. But imagine if it were more like a pageant, where each state in America picked a songwriter to write the song, and had someone sing it to represent their state. In Europe, each country writes a song and has an artist represent them in Eurovision, one of the biggest-viewed shows in Europe. Over 100 million people will tune in tomorrow to vote on what their favorite song is.

BetUS has the odds on who's going to win the prestigious contest. Last year it was Finland with a heavy metal act. Who's it going to be this year? Sweden, that bastion on loveable bubblegum pop is at +700, while the old Soviet Union and Eastern Europe brings the competition with a bunch of countries: Belarus at +450, Bulgaria at +850, Serbia at +350, Russia at +850, and favorite Ukraine at +300. Lithuania brings up the rear with unfortunate odds at +10000. Go Lithuania!
