America's Player is in Danger!

Eric is officially on the chopping block this week in the Big Brother 8 house! Evel and Daniele have correctly identified him as the mysterious "2nd vote" but no one inside the house can officially confirm nor deny their allegations because, well, it is the Big Brother house where fibbing and lying are a general practice!

Even though Eric is the one who DID make those unplanned votes - he was only doing it for the sake of America!! We told him who to vote for! I feel bad that we have lead him to this difficult position, but it does make for an exciting and unpredictable game. Evel loses his cool while Eric remains calm as a cucumber. Am I proud or embarrassed at Eric's ability to control, manipulate, and lie within the situation to his favor? ....?....? I'm proud!

Daniele, acting in the name of "love" for Nick, has dug herself a hole in the Big Brother house by nominating Eric. She just made herself enemies with Amber, Dustin, Jessica, Jameka, and Eric. Meanwhile, she's left to rely on Jen, Zach, and her Dad. I must also bring to attention the fact that Daniele PROMISED Kail that Kail would be safe from eviction this week - but she's on the chopping block right next to Eric! This does not do wonders for Daniele's reputation.

Jessica is going to be the swing vote here this week, and I do not see her turning her back on her solid alliance just to get on the good side of the "leftover" players like Jen, Kail, and Zach.
I guess we will find out for sure tomorrow night LIVE!
I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that Eric stays!

Eric is Taking Big Brother by the Horns!

My obsession with Big Brother might be going too far. Let's just say that I had a dream about Eric last night. (Oh yeah!) Before your mind goes into the gutter, it wasn't anything "inappropriate." In fact, I was an invisible House Guest who was sent to get information from Eric regarding his opinion on whether or not his cover as "America's Player" had been blown. Yep, I really care about Eric's safety in the game! And my subconscious convinced myself that I can play a role in protecting him!

Ok, now that I'm awake and out of the Big Brother house, it's time to talk strategy!
Dustin won the Head of Household competition last night after Mike was evicted in a 7 to 2 vote. Amongst the house guests, Zach was the only player expected to be loyal to Mike and vote out Kail - except that America told Eric to vote to evict Kail, too. When the voting results were revealed to the house guests, everyone began speculating who cast the 2nd vote for Kail?

Fingers started pointing at Jen and Nick, but both denied the accusations because, well, they didn't vote to evict Kail. BUT, so far, Eric has fortunately been able to use this situation as a strategic advantage! He is planting seeds of doubt among everyone insisting that it HAD to be Jen or Nick (because Jen had no other alliance and/or because Nick was in on Mike's initial alliance with Zach) which really isn't beyond the realm of the inconceivable.

This isn't good news for Nick, who is trying to prove to Dick and Daniele that he's honest and not loyal to anyone else. BUT, what if Nick and Jen convince everyone that they didn't vote to evict Kail? Will the house smell a rat? Will Eric's cover be revealed? Can he pawn the blame on someone else without seeming malicious? Gosh, I hope so!

If I had to predict the two people Dustin will nominate this week, I am guessing it will be Nick and Zach. These two guys were in a secret original alliance, which has since been exposed. They are also two players who are outside the group of Dustin's friends - and I don't think Dustin's going to be looking to make enemies this week, as it is still relatively early in the game. Nominating Nick and Zach would be a safe (and strategic) move for him.
(*Note that my last week's prediction eventually became true: Dick nominated Kail and Mike for eviction!)

Eric is still listed with the best odds to win the grand prize at 6/1 at Bodog
Next is Daniele at 7/1 at Bodog
Third, is Nick at 8/1
Tied for Fourth is Jameka and Zack at 9/1

However, voter polls say that they think Dustin is the most likely to win the Grand Prize.
Next likely is Jameka.
Then, Daniele, Eric, and Jessica are virtually in a 3-way tie for third place.
