Yes, it is officially summer, the time for drinking mojitos, eating blueberries and prop betting on babies and divorces. Let's start with the babies. Bodog has a few lines on Gisele and Kendra Willkinson's (Girl Next Door) upcoming deliveries. They have even odds on whose baby will weight more at birth (both at -115). Gisele is
5'10" and 125-130 pounds and her football playing baby daddy (Tom Brady) weighs in at 225 while Kendra is reported to be 5'4" and 115-120 lbs and her football playing baby daddy (Hank Basket) weights in at 220. While genetics are a little more complicated than simple math, Gisele looks like a good bet.

You can also bet on the gender of the babies.

Moving on to divorces, Bookmaker is taking bets on who will split up next. According to their odds, Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett are the couple on the list with the most staying power. Couples who may be in for a rocky road ahead include Sean Penn & Robin Wright Penn as well as Pete Wentz & Ashley Simpson. Smith and Pinkett really is the worst bet. Not only are you unlikely to cash in, but even if you do, who could help but feel bad about these two getting divorced? Though the Penns have already filed for divorce, they also filed for withdrawal of those same papers in April of this year.

It is hard to choose among the many possibilities on the list, but you know there is money to be made when the odds on a seasoned divorcee like Lopez are towards the middle of the pack.

The third time isn't always a charm, especially when it comes to divorce statistics. J Lo and Marc
Anthony are facing some tough odds, from sports books as well as divorce data. According to divorcerate.org the divorce rate for a third marriage is 73%. To be fair, while this is technically Anthony's (and J Lo's) third marriage, his first two marriages were to the same woman, so maybe he has slightly better odds of a 60% divorce rate for a second marriage. Then again, he has children by three different women, which may tip the scales back towards splitzville.

Reasons for the marriage to survive? Their twins and their combined $350 million dollar fortune may help them overcome these odds. Reasons to bet on J Lo and Anthony sticking it out? They only have to last through 2009 for you to cash in.

Is marriage really all bliss in Hollywood? Are any of the many celebrity couples in danger of divorce? Are we chomping at the bit for another messy brawl between two self-absorbed, bratty celebrities? Yes we are!

Tom Cruise - Katie Holmes (+125): Your favorites, folks. I think we'd all like to see this end. I mean, I know a lot of guys who would be very happy to see Katie Holmes wake up from her zombie state and be hot again. But Scientology is a powerful, um, group of people.


Jennifer Garner - Ben Affleck (+200): You know, I just don't see this happening. I'm not even sure why they'd be in second place running when I just saw Ben on The Daily Show not two days ago with a permanent smile on his face.


Jennifer Lopez - Marc Anthony (+300): Well, considering JLo's (supposedly) pregnant with twins, this should be one of the worser ones to bet on. Though what worries me is what those kids are going to look like with zombie Marc. Now, that might just cause a divorce.





Christina Aguilera - Jordan Bratman (+500): We know for sure that Xtina's pregnant, so this would probably be the longest shot out of all of them. Unless Jordan Bratman is one of those baby daddies? (Probably not.)


Victoria Beckham - David Beckham (+600): Posh and Becks have been together for so long, you'd think they'd be bickering like old folks at this point. But they've been keeping it together, at least in public. I would guess that if there were really any couples close to the verge of breaking up, they'd be it. And you'd make some nice change from it, too.





Eva Longoria - Tony Parker (+900): They just got married this past summer, people. Come on. Though if Eva's itching to have some babies and Tony's not having it, there could be some trouble really quick for these two.

Apparently, it took a sober Britney Spears to make it through the process of finalizing her divorce from K-Fed today. Silly me, I always thought it was easier to get through rough times stoned and drunk! But, I guess this really does mean Britney has been rehabilitated and can face reality as a sober woman. Congratulations! Looks like this truly is one small step for Britney; and one giant leap for Pop Culture!

It also makes me happy to hear that Britney got herself set up with a nice pre-nup agreement. Bet she heard Kanye's song! She is only going to have to pay Kevin approximately $1 Million dollars - and by today's celebrity divorce standards, that's pennies! They will also be sharing custody of their kids 50/50.

I must say that for such an unpredictable group of characters, they have been making some very mature decisions - which makes me happy and gives me hope for the rest of the world. My real question, however, is: If Britney can make it through rehab, divorce K-Fed, and decide what's best for her kids, why can't America vote Sanjaya off American Idol?! Really, people!! Is it THAT confusing!?

Anyway, BetUS (click "Entertainment" on the left column in the Sports Book) has some interesting prop bets up on K-Fed! Since 2006, he has occasionally participated in editions of WWE RAW. I haven't personally seen this, but I'd love to see him scrap it out with another scrawny lookin' dude! But, now that he's going to be sharing little Sean Preston and Jayden James with Brit-Brit, K-Fed is more likely to incorporate them in his business pursuits.

Will he bring the kids ringside to his next WWE appearance? Yes is the favorite, by far, at -4000! Will he win Father of the Year in 2007? Not so surprisingly, No is the expected result with odds at -9999! Some other comical options are whether or not he will get in trouble for giving his kids pot (my goodness). Yes is at +300 and No is at -500. Will Kevin feature the kids in his next music video (like his image isn't damaged enough)? Yes is at +500 and No is at -1000.

Check out the other crazy props BetUS has on K-Fed! There are odds for whether or not he'll get caught driving with the kids in his lap! How likely is it that Kevin will shave the boys' heads completely? Will he get caught, like his former boss Michael Jackson, dangling his kids off a balcony? Oh, people, there is no end to the madness! These props sounds so absurd but I could totally see some of them coming to fruition! Put down some cash and wait for them to happen!
