In the Winehouse...

I thought things were bad with Amy Winehouse last week when she and her husband had a little punch-up. Blood and scratches and messed up eyeliner, oh my!

But now, Amy's dad is telling folks to boycott buying any of her music in order for people to stop supporting their drug habits.

Listen. I'm not saying I condone drug use or whatever. But all I'm saying is if Amy's going to keep making good records while on drugs, maybe she should consider just toning it down a tad.

Smashing Pumpkins odds for your Monday

Remember the band Smashing Pumpkins? Sure you do. Now, the real question is, do you remember when they were good? That seems to be a very long time ago, right? Now that lead singer Billy Corgan's got the band back together, the odds are up on if the new album will be made with the complete original lineup, and if the album, slated for release in May of this year, will hit #1 on the Top 200 Album Chart.

Bodog's got the numbers on these two props involving the Pumpkins:

Will the Smashing Pumpkins upcoming album debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart?
Yes at -125 and No at -115: As a music fan, and as someone who remembers when the Pumpkins were big, I really wonder if the kids today are really going to feel the nostalgia that I'd feel about the Pumpkins. The average age of the music bloggers is probably in the mid-20's, and their opinions would really be the deciding factor on whether anyone's really going to buy the album.

Will founding members James Iha and D'arcy Wretzky join Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin on the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins 2007 world tour?
Yes at -110 and No at -130: I'd go with the No on this one, only because D'Arcy was the first one to leave the band all those years ago. She might be okay with not coming back. James Iha was with A Perfect Circle for awhile, so he might be looking for a new job, and Billy would definitely give him one.

Fiddy and MJ?

Bodog has put up some odds on whether 50 Cent will guest on Michael Jackson's next album. Is it possible that one of the pillars of modern rap will record a song with the King of Pop?

Yes at -110
No at -130

They're close numbers, but it's certainly possible. Now that you won all that moolah on American Idol, you've got a little cash to throw around.

Will Axl give up the goods? Finally?

Bodog has numbers up on whether or not Guns N' Roses will release their album Chinese Democracy in full by the end of the year.

Yes is at -145.
No is at +105.

The chances are good he will, actually. He's been playing shows in New York, some of the tracks have been leaked online, and he just recently got into a slap-happy match with Tommy Hilfiger at Rosario Dawson's birthday party last weekend. He's ready to release this dammed record.
